Brendan Cupido

Software Developer | 10+ Years of Experience

Experienced Software Developer with 10 years and 7 months of professional experience building, testing, deploying, and evolving web applications. Strong full-stack background spanning Django, FastAPI, Vue.js, Go, AWS, and web infrastructure, with experience working across both backend and frontend development.

I approach software development with a strong emphasis on clean engineering practices, automated testing, maintainability, and continuous improvement. Beyond implementation, I enjoy understanding the underlying business or user problem and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop practical solutions through Agile and design-thinking methodologies.

My experience extends across the broader software lifecycle, including application development, API development, cloud environments, deployment considerations, DNS configuration, and hosting. I have hands-on experience with GoDaddy DNS and hosting environments, giving me an appreciation for the infrastructure and operational considerations surrounding production applications.

I’m particularly motivated by environments where engineers are encouraged to think critically, iterate continuously, share knowledge, and improve how software is built not just what gets built. With a decade of experience, I bring both technical depth and the perspective gained from working through the realities of maintaining and evolving software over time.
