I am a Temporary Compliance and Enforcement Administrator at the Community Schemes Ombud Services (CSOS) with a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics (Honours) from University of Limpopo and a Higher certificate in Banking Services from Milpark Business School.
I have experience in the implementation of a compliance risk management process and enforcement and experience in drafting Compliance Risk Management Plans and conducting compliance monitoring that includes the identification, data analysis, assessment, management, monitoring and reporting of compliance risks, that are faced by the governance, compliance, and enforcement unit at the Community Schemes Ombud Services taking into practice the POPIA, FAIS, FICA, and the APA.
In addition is the finance related experience that I gained at the First-Class Logistics working as a finance intern, while currently at the Community Schemes Ombud Services I am working directly with the finance department in making sure that all community schemes are compliant with the Community Schemes Ombud Services Act and the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act.
I believe that I am the best fit for this role because being a Compliance and Enforcement Administrator as well as a Finance intern has helped me develop critical thinking, the ability to work under pressure and solve real issues while delivering quality work. Also, Economics is a field that is largely focused on analytical thinking, critical thinking, detail orientation, and teamwork. I believe that these are the critical skills needed in the work environment for an individual to deliver work based on their experiences and beyond their experiences.
I am a hard worker, I have great analytical skills, I am creative, I have great problem-solving skills, I have good communication skills, always eager to learn, I can work under pressure, and a self-motivated individual. Currently in my role I make a distinctive and significant contribution to the organisation using my personality, gained experiences, professionalism, knowledge, and skills. I am a team-player and at the same time I can work independently.
Thank you for taking the time to read my note, I’m incredibly excited to have the opportunity to be considered for this position.
I look forward to speaking with you about how I can put my skills to work.
