I am currently the office coordinator and administrator for a private educational institution.
I have 9 years of experience as an office manager in two very different industries namely hospitality and education, as well as 3 years of experience within the beauty industry. I have 7 years of networking, sales and marketing experience.
People are my passion. I enjoy networking with people and people management. My managerial style is to assist where I can and be of support where I am needed. You can achieve anything with a great team.

Newton College offers matric rewrites and the amended senior certificate (Academic adult matric)We have branched off into computer short courses and an accredited NQF level 3 computer course which has been with nurses in mind but can be used in any office environment. Within the next year we will be launching our corporate courses focusing on procurement and operations.
In 2017 I was approached by the founders of Newton College to build the foundations of the business.
My objective is to network within the education sector, gain knowledge on the processors and build a reputation that is now recognizable.
I am responsible for the enrollments, student queries, accounts and marketing as well as developing and proofreading procedures and policies for the company.

-Cold calling companies to create relationships for future business
-Keep the student database updated - Data Capture (I currently run two separate databases, the college and the computer department)
-Problem solve on a daily basis/manage complaints
-Manage financials - Student accounts and budgets
-Maintain and create college timetable and calendars for all students and teachers
-Admissions for computer and college students
-Submissions and paperwork to the department of education

Manage kitchen - Stock take and order, over see breakfast runs smoothly and handle complaints, cook when staff is off duty or sick
Over see that rooms are cleaned to standard and restock mini bars.
Manage Office - handled check in and check out of guests, reservations (individual and companies), debt collecting, liaison with guests and companies, organized paperwork, guest details and personal information - data capturing.
Managed a staff of four - maintenance - reporting of maintenance and oversee that the job was done well and in sufficient time. Laundry - all laundry clean, ironed and folded ready in time for house keeping to set beds and guest rooms.
