I have 25 years experience within the Freight Industry and have an extensive knowledge of
Customs Legislation, Customs policies and procedures as well as tariff and valuation aspects as for it is part of my daily operations.
I was employed by SARS, Customs for 14 years and 7 months. I worked in various sections within
Customs to broaden my knowledge and to increase my level of competencies.
I am currently employed by Shoprite Checkers (PTY) Ltd as a Customs Controller in the International Trade Department.
I have completed the Customs Sufficient Knowledge assessments in the following two client types:
