I have been a medical secretary for 30+ years. After being retrenched in 2020, I continued to work remotely offering services as a medical transcriptionist for two specialists. I think of myself being a competent, empathetic and resourceful individual who can work well both in a team, as well as independently.

I have filled the role of a medical secretary for various clinicians in different specialities during my career from specialist physicians to specialist surgeons. After I matriculated I obtained a 1 year Secretarial Diploma and have been working in that field ever since qualifying. My medical software experience includes Medemass and GoodX

I matriculated in 1989 and went on to do a 1 year secretarial diploma in 1990. On completion I was immediately employed and have filled the position of medical secretary ever since.
