A creative Public Relations practitioner, newly graduated. With a passion for effective communication and a flair for design. With a background in graphic design, I bring a unique blend of strategic PR insights and visual storytelling skills to create compelling and memorable brand narratives.
I am currently self-employed at my own Large Format Printing and Design company. My daily duties range from frontend to backend work. Duties covering customer service, sales, designing, marketing, printing, stocktaking, bookkeeping, customer relations, packaging, and after sales care. This has been my daily bread for four straight years.
Prior to that, I spent six years working as a clerk for a betting agent called BettingWorld. My duties included customer service, sales, laying of bets, handling large sums of money, making deposits and withdrawals, receiving cash and issuing payouts, interpreting odds, knowing your customer (KYC), and FICA compliance.
In 2023 I successfully completed my Diploma in Public Relations from the University of South Africa (UNISA). I graduated with a 3.3 GPA (Cum Laude). Major subjects that were covered over the three year course: Communications, The Public Relations Programme, Creative Writing, Writing for PR, English in the Workplace, Producing Media for Digital and Analogue platforms, Strategic Planning and Advisement, Issues Management and Social Responsibility, etcetera.
