I am an 18 year old that recently finished high school (receiving my matric certificate 12/13 January 2026).
I am a dedicated, adaptable, and genuinely people-oriented individual with three years of hands-on experience in customer-facing roles. Working as a Waiter Assistant, Bartender Assistant, and Bar Lady has taught me far more than just service skills — it has shaped the way I communicate, connect, and carry myself in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. I’ve learned how to stay calm when things get busy, how to support a team when it matters most, and how to make people feel seen, heard, and taken care of.
My school background in Life Sciences, CAT, and Hospitality Studies strengthened my problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and comfort with technology. But beyond academics, I’ve grown as a person — learning to adapt quickly, take initiative, and push myself even when tasks feel challenging or unfamiliar.

Completed my Grade 12 at Hoërskool Oos-Moot with a subject focus that strengthened both my academic and practical skills.
Language and English First Additional Language developed my communication abilities, while Mathematical Literacy improved my problem-solving and logical thinking.
Technology (CAT) gave me strong computer, typing, and administrative skills. Life Sciences enhanced my understanding of analytical thinking and human biology, and Hospitality Studies provided practical knowledge in food preparation, service, hygiene, and customer care.
I have three years of hands-on experience in the hospitality industry, working as a Waiter Assistant, Bartender Assistant, and Bar Lady at Oppi-Plaas Restaurant. During this time, I developed strong customer service skills, the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, and confidence in handling both front-of-house and bar responsibilities. My experience taught me how to communicate clearly with customers, work well within a team, stay organized during busy shifts, and handle pressure calmly and professionally.
I consistently ensured quality service, supported smooth daily operations, and helped create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
