About

I am respectful, polite, caring and eager to learn. I am humble and stay calm in any situation. I always help people where I can. I wanted to become a carer to help people who cannot help themselves. I enrolled into the Home Based Care Training, as it is my interest to support people in need of care.

I furthered my knowledge by reading books about caretaking and I am very good at organized books and any admit work. Through my volunteer practical service I could gain practical experiences. My volunteering felt thankful being able to see that my work can cheer patients up and that I can contribute towards making them happy.

The Great Girls Programme is a three year mentorship programme with a focus on personal and career development. I was selected to participate, in my matric year, from 62 candidates. The course component runs for two months and attendance is compulsory for graduation. As an alumnus, I meet with my pod mentor once every quarter to assess and rework my personal and career goals.

Class Representative - School - South Africa

The class representative is a member of the representative council of learners. The main duty is to discuss and present the view of the learner's in your grade. It is also important because you are the person the learners come to if they have a problem with other learners or with teachers. The class representative attends meetings with staff and then tells the learners what was decided and the action plan. The class representative also does workshops and then has to train the learners.
