• Daily cleansing of toilets, dirt bins, passages, etc making use of the correct mop / cloths
• Control measures in general, e.g. maintaining & cleaning of equipment
• Serving meals to patients
• Put in place savings measures by keeping record of meals served, i.e. food service statistics
• Ensure the safeguarding of equipment by means of effective use, maintenance, ordering and safekeeping of equipment
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Manager, e.g. Rendering of Laundry- and Linen Services to wards as directed by the Contract Manager (all-in-all 67 wards should be serviced, with a bed count of 1384)
• Operating select Linen Rooms, amongst others 29 theatres as well as 10 Intensive Care Unit- & High Care beds
• Collecting Soiled Linen from wards
• Lifting and moving heavy objects
• Receive, sort and unpack soiled- and clean linen
• Delivering clean linen focusing on high-priority areas
