My function is a National function. Reporting and updating schedules for berthing, ata, storage, stack dates as well as detention and demurrage. The updates are done on Cargo Wise for national access. All new updates that affect day to day operations and global news affecting the shipping industry is shared with the business and the clients.

I have been assigned as a super user for Cargo Wise and have the rights to resolve the branch system issues and load new vessels and carriers onto the Cargo Wise. Loading supplier, consignee and agent details as per compliance request on Cargowise. Linking up consignee to suppliers and agents to correct Main unloco codes.

Handling and executing from start to finish export shipments for our biggest clients. Doing data scrubbing/archiving of vessels etc. Many of this has come from the change over of our agents and the implementation that had to be actioned from this project.

Pulling our performance reports and doing data measuring I work closely with the National Forwarding General Manager with implantation of project and testing of systems. I am currently enrolled in the Bidvest Future leadership, which is an elite programme at Bidvest. Leaders
