I am currently self employed at my own practice which is in existence for approximately 7 years. I was admitted in August 2003, thus I have 20 years litigation experience, specializing in civil matters particularly High Court. I have previously done work for Transnet, Ethekwini Municipality, SARS, Road Accident Fund, Scorpion Legal Protection etc. I have also served as contract prosecutor for a short term under the Pinetown cluster.
I am a litigation attorney currently sole director of my own practice Cheryl Pillay Attorneys. I hold a LLB Degree from the University of Durban Westville in 2001. After serving 2 years articles, I was admitted in 2003. I have been working as legal since 2001. I have been fortunate to acquire experience in working on diverse matters eg Transnet, SARS, Ethekwini Municipality etc.
