About

I am a highly driven award-winning fine art photographer, digital creator and author of the cookbook “Far Yet Near”. I have had the opportunity of my work being displayed in the Galerie Joseph in Paris and in the International virtual gallery exhibition for Art partner Create COP26.

I am a Loerie Award finalist in brand content creation 2020 and a World Photography Award finalist 2021.

I have an internationally recognised Bachelors Degree in Visual Communications from Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography where I majored in Photography, Visual Studies and Marketing. I am a professional photographer that specialises in visual communication and marketing for brands and products.

I'm the type of person who always takes ownership of difficult challenges.I will willingly do work that is outside of the job description.

Experience

My professional experience started during my studies at Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography in 2018. During my time there I worked with many pristine businesses and brands such as Darling Brewery, BMW Stellenbosch, Cavalli Estate, Freedom of Movement, Tuis/Home Magazine and StudioKirmack along with many more. I graduated as valedictorian and top of my class, I was honoured to give the graduating speech.

Being a Professional Photographer lead me to winning multiple awards in both the photography and brand campaign fields. My recent work was displayed in a gallery in Paris and I was a Loerie finalist for a brand campaign that I created along with being a Sony World Awards Organisation finalist.

In 2021 I joined a company, Nifty Gifts, where I was a Product Photographer and Warehouse Manager. I photographed a large portion of their product catalog and managed a team of three. I assisted them with social media campaigns and marketing on a daily basis along with organising and managing their warehouse.

I am currently a Freelance Photographer seeking a fresh challenge with a new and exciting organisation where my skills, knowledge and experience would be put to good use.
