Distribution of job cards to programmers
Enure that CNC and Beamsaw machines are programmed
Oversee the entire production unit of the factory (target is met per jobcard per dept)
Meet targets set for the month
Make sure production runs smoothly
Sit-in on internal hearings with the company lawyer
Managing Supervisors at various Departments within the factory
Overseeing the KPI's with employees
Organizing equipment repair and maintenance
Monitor production to resolve issues
Weekly reports to upper Management
I am a production manager. i have been in the wood manufacturing field for 20 plus years and I'm currently employed at Cecil Nurse Manufacturing, which is part of the Bidvest group. My job entails everything to do with the machinery, programming, job lists, repairs of machines, adhoc admin duties, overseeing employees and their day to day work needs.
