I am an experienced and versatile professional with a strong background in the retail industry. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive knowledge and expertise by working with renowned companies such as Clicks, Woolworths, Game (Massmart/Wal-Mart), and Cambridge Food. My roles have ranged from managing branches to overseeing regional operations, demonstrating my ability to handle diverse responsibilities effectively.
With a passion for constructing and implementing operational processes and procedures, I have excelled at driving organizational success and ensuring streamlined operations. My entrepreneurial spirit led you to establish my own second-hand retail outlet, showcasing my adaptability and willingness to take risks. Additionally, my time at Checkers Hyper and joint venture partnership with Cash Crusaders and ACDC Dynamics further underscore my dedication and commitment to the retail industry.
Having transitioned to real estate briefly, I am now returning to retail, armed with a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the sector. My hardworking nature, loyalty, exceptional people skills, and management capabilities make me a valuable asset to any company in the retail industry.
I have enjoyed many years in the retail industry, of which I spent seven years with Clicks, two years with Woolworths, eleven years with (Massmart/Wal-Mart) Game, where I managed the Centurion and Menlyn branches, respectively. I then went on to manage the Free State/Northern Cape/Northern Province as the Regional Executive for five years, thereafter I moved to Cambridge Food, which is also part of Massmart. I spent two and a half years with that division, constructing and implementing operational processes and procedures for the company and management of the Project rollout nationally, and left in March 2014 to pursue other interests.
I had my own second-hand retail outlet in 2015 to 2016, which I thoroughly enjoyed, however due to economic circumstances, I once again joined corporate business, joining Checkers Hyper as an Assistant Manager in 2016 until 2020. I became a joint venture partner with Cash Crusaders until 2021, after which I joined ACDC Dynamics as the Retail manager, implementing new, effective policies and processes. I then chose to leave ACDC as I was looking to follow a new career path in real estate with ProProperties, where I’m currently being mentored as a practitioner.
As a result of poor economic circumstances this sector has seen a significant decline and has prompted me to return to retail once again. I believe my many years of retail experience, across various sectors of the industry will make a positive contribution to your company. I am a hardworking, dedicated and a loyal person with excellent people and management skills.
