Good day.
I am a young and vibrant 29 year old male residing in Randburg seeking employment in the care giving field. I have always wanted to be in the medical field and didn't think it possible because I never had the opportunity to go to varsity. However with that being said I am very fond of elderly people and have learned a lot of history from the stories they tell of our beloved country from the various viewpoints of all races so I am not judgmental on anyone.
I am an empathetic person who is willing to tolerate a lot of pressure based on the fact that I can place myself in the shoes of the next person. I am a fluent reader of English and Afrikaans, Zulu and Xhosa and communicate in basic African languages. People love me as I am a gentle soul and speak the truth and facts.
I have some experience in caring for elderly as my great grandmother died of cancer and I had to take care of her during her transition. I understand that it can be difficult when a patient is terminally ill but all I wish to do is make someone comfortable after their hard sweat and tears experienced during many years of being on this Earth. I am willing to assist with nappy changes and washing of patients, reading to them, feeding them as well as interacting with them in a friendly, compassionate way.
I might be a male but I am not rough or hard on anyone as life has shown me that being treated without dignity can lead to one being absolutely depressed and this is the last thing I would want for the mother, father, uncle, aunt or cousin to have to go through during this difficult passage of time.
I am thinking of going to an online school to get qualified but if you provide certification I am willing to dedicate myself to you for the long run as practical experience will be a good benefit and I am still young enough to make this a full-time career. You will find me to be humorous, simple, focused but at the same time very professional. I mix with people of all races and can make a patients life a real joy for the remainder of their time on earth.
