- Ensuring all work protocols are followed, conducting safety inspections and promoting a culture of safety among the team.

- Writing PLC application software using control philosophies, algorithms and flow charts by using IEC standards
- Carrying out Preventive Maintenance Programme to ensure all scheduled activities are being carried out timeously and effectively.
- Complete all Work Orders generated in SAP and generates reports as necessary for the maintenance work done.
- Draw and analyze electrical drawings and P&ID for fault finding using CAD software
- Maintains and updates operating and training manuals and software backups for the maintenance department.
- Overseeing the quality of work performed, conducting inspections and ensuring that all work meets the required standards using ISO 9001 (Quality)/14000 requirement (Environment).
- Maintenance of PLC and DCS, Maintenance and calibration of field instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature), SCADA and HMI upgrade projects
- Supervising Technicians, Coaching, and ensuring full compliance with OHS Act.
- Timeously and appropriately responding to equipment system failure using dedicated diagnostic and programming tools and available on standby for emergence breakdowns.
- Carrying out of planned maintenance schedules through regular equipment check and drawing of reports from various electronic devices and software such as SAP.
- Diagnose plant and equipment problems (fault finding) using PLC, Scada, HMI's and identify opportunities to modify, upgrade, improve or replace equipment and spares
- Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site and reduce downtime.
- Ensure that critical spares and consumables are available.
- Fault finding PLC, HMI, Instrumentation, SCADA and PLC Networks – Modbus Plus and Industrial Ethernet.
- Optimise equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality.
- Reprogramming of SCADA & PLC Projects application software using various dedicated programming tools.
