I am a skilled professional with experience in permaculture design, professional driving, brewing and fermentation management, and leadership. I am fluent in both English and Afrikaans. My education includes a matric from Hugenote High, permaculture design, natural building, and an online certificate in brewing sciences.
My relevant experience includes workshop facilitation and consulting for Food & Trees for Africa, estate and staff management as a personal assistant at Karibu in Riebeek Kasteel, assisting as a cellar hand at Winzerkeller Sommerach in Germany, and installation and setup of infrastructure for Afrikaburn's Department of Public Works. I have also assisted with lighting as a Best Boy for "The Kingdom" produced by I Love That Productions, worked as a cellar assistant at Terracura Wines, and managed the site for Aftermath in Riebeek Kasteel. Additionally, I have held multiple positions at Garagista Beer Co., including assistant brewer, production manager, general manager, and front of house, and served as bar manager at Kasteelberg Inn.
Previously, I worked as a regional permaculture coordinator at Goedgedacht in Malmesbury where I designed and implemented permaculture solutions, managed staff and resources, and led project management.
I completed my matric at Hugenote High in 2010 and have since pursued various relevant education opportunities. I received a Permaculture design certification and completed an internship at Berg-en-Dal Eco Village through Permaculture Education Africa. I also completed a brewing sciences course through edX. I am fluent in English and Afrikaans.
