• Formulate and manage five (5) year rolling capital and maintenance plan in line with the site manufacturing strategy.
• Coordinate the activities of all manufacturing services and maintenance at the Benoni facility.
• Coordinate the activities of all local, export and OEM warehouses.
• Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation including environmental and local by-laws.
• Track, analyze and take corrective action to prevent equipment down time.
• Provide continual leadership and guidance to all Health, Safety and Environmental, Warehouse and maintenance personnel for the purpose of increasing their effectiveness and establishing good working relationships.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility and structures to identify and initiate corrective action for safety and environmental discrepancies, as well as physical and systems discrepancies.
• Plan, organize, implement, and monitor the installation of assigned projects.
