I studied at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg Campus, from 2021 until 2025, during which I made steady academic progress but later faced challenges that resulted in my academic exclusion. I acknowledge this outcome respectfully and take full responsibility for the circumstances that led to it. The exclusion has been a difficult but transformative experience, and I am committed to returning with improved discipline, maturity, and focus.
To resume my studies on the day I return to UKZN, I will require R10,800 for re‑registration, which I am preparing for by working part‑time and saving consistently. I also currently have an outstanding university debt of over R60,000, which has been reduced by 25% as part of an arrangement to support my eventual completion of the degree. This reduction has made repayment more manageable, and I am actively working toward clearing this amount so I can return stronger and complete my qualification.
I registered at another institution called Emeris University/Varsity College, Pietermaritzburg Campus, for a Bachelor of Computer Application and Information Science to further my studies. During this period, I want to improve my working experience and learn how the working environment actually works in different industries. Very interested on working part-time and responsible for my day-to-day tasks as I further my studies.
I worked part‑time as a Civil Worker for Makadebona Pty Ltd, a subcontracted construction company operating within the Huletts Tongaat Refinery. My employment ran from November 2023 to early January 2024, during which I balanced the job while still studying. This role provided valuable hands‑on experience in real construction site operations, teamwork, and practical civil work tasks, helping me develop discipline, work ethic, and on‑site technical exposure.
