I have completed my Diploma in Financial Accounting from the Durban University of Technology, thus enabling me to work efficiently and with little or no supervision. Given entering the working environment from a young age, while simultaneously completing my studies at tertiary level, this has helped me to practically apply the theoretical knowledge gained at university. It has allowed me to broaden my knowledge on the various applications and processes that are essential in the daily operations of any business.
It has also enabled me to further develop my strong work ethic and zone in on the essential skills required to work successfully in a fast paced environment. Living and working in a richly multi-cultural and diverse country, has made it possible for me to work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
I am a self-motivated, well organized and a hardworking individual, readily available to tackle new challenges. I believe I have the technical and analytical mind-set with a knowledgeable background of the National Credit Act 31 of 2005 as well as the regulatory authorities that govern said act. I am no stranger with assessing financial statements as it is an integral part of my current role.
I am a strong out of the box thinker with the ability to make sound decisions using available data as my standpoint. I believe that numbers do not lie and it’s our duty to use the available data to take technical issues and present them in a non-technical manner for the business to be able to eliminate risk and apply best practices which is fair and acceptable.
