Procurement Functions

 Check and Approve Purchase Order Requisitions

 Ensure that all Purchase requisitions are converted into a Purchase Order on the ERP system and sent out to the correct supplier.

 Meeting with suppliers and assisting with negotiations of rates and prices

 Regular review of supplier rates

 Accountable for driving and monitoring BBBEE for the business

 Provide leadership, direction and effective supervision of the procurement department

 Provide feedback on areas of cost saving and execution thereof

 Procurement reporting on a monthly basis or as required.

 Manage Service Level agreements with suppliers

 Implement and Manage the Workflow on ERP system

 Maintain a professional relationship with all suppliers, customers and staff

 Adhere to local and group purchasing policies

 Take ownership of any task at hand until I am able to hand over to the responsible staff

Full Creditors Function (Creditors Control position)

 Meet all reporting and creditor deadlines

 Accurate allocation of invoices / credit notes/ payments and refunds

 All statutory payments to be made on or before due date

 Local and Foreign cashbook

 Assist with reporting to head office in Germany

 Transfer of cost from one project to another after approval is obtained.

 Ensure payments are made timeously
