Ø Assessment, Intervention and Referral of child abuse cases in the hospital
Ø Psycho-social Assessments of families referred to the Social Work Department within the Hospital
Ø External referrals made to outside social services
Ø Report writing
Ø Review and reporting of past child abuse cases seen in hospital
Ø Creating database of past and current child abuse cases seen in the hospital for monitoring and review purposes

Quality assurance Department at RCWMCH
Conducting quality assurance surveys within RCWMCH.
Working hand in hand with the department of justice. Assessing clients in conflict with the law to determine suitability for diversion. Facilitation of diversion programmes (theft thinking programme and substance use programme). Doing individual sessions with clients. Referrals to external organizations based on the clients needs. Report writing and administrative duties.
