Good day

Compliments of the 2023 season to you.

I trust that the start of this year has been great thus far.

This might be a long message, I'd like to be quite thorough here, if I may.

I am currently seeking work within the Gauteng region In a sales environment. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Below is a bit of a Bio,

I started my working career straight out of school and worked for a well known restaurant chain. I knew the owner from attending school with he's children so he allowed me the freedom of gaining experience in multiple areas of he's chain restaurant at that time was 9 restaurants.

I completed my internationally recognized diploma in Culinary arts and food preparation at Capsicum Culinary Studio which I finished with multiple distinctions.

My chef career had begun and I quickly rose to the top, executive chef level, at that time my salary was R14000.00 and I wondered, "Where to from here?"

This is when I decided to take a jump into a sales environment, I did this blind, no experience at all. If I may be ever so slightly egotistical, I can say that I have done well and still am doing well in the field. I grasped onto all the knowledge that came my way and I had some good people above me that showed me the ropes for many years. I developed some key tools, skills and techniques that I find is part of my life today.

I now have a total number of 7 years sales experience, 6 of which in a senior sales executive role and 1 of which in a high level management role.

Most recently, I have been working at an Import and export company. An international company with 17 branches globally. We import various food items to be sold to wholesale and retail clientele, in a nut shell.

My role includes, Area Sales Manager for Gauteng and Free State on commodity lines and retail manager for Gauteng on retail lines with retailers such as Pick n Pay, Shoprite/Checkers group, Choppies, KitKat Group, Food Lovers Market and Spar. Our brand of retail is Sadia Crumbed Chicken.

Some of my functions include the following,

• Management of promotional team of 20 employees (external).
• Management of merchandising team of 20 employees (external).
• Listing various items lines onto outlets portals.
• Extensive visiting on store levels to make sure product is healthy and store level employee relationships are healthy.
• Regular DC visits with regional buyers to discuss promotions, issues and pricing as well as future lines.
• Compiling sales data from outlets for analysis, invoicing, stock control, distribution, promotional work etc.
• Damage control.
• Expiry date forecasting.
• Live product training to various departments.
• Yealry Forecasting on promotional work and stock distribution.
• Continuous business development and relationship management.
