I am part of the generation that brands are trying to find. I scroll, I post, I engage. I love marketing because I get to be on the presenting end of how brands connect with people like me, and I want to be part of that story. Whether it's designing and curating content for online feeds or helping customers and clients find what fits them best, I bring to the table creativity, curiosity, and an understanding of what resonates with individuals on a personal level.

Retail and Promotions All-Rounder at Game4U (Present)

I later moved to Johannesburg, where I currently work in Eastgate Shopping Centre at Game4U. Here is where I learnt a lot more and gained a lot of consumer interaction experience. The job is inclusive of blending customer service, administrative duties, and creative marketing.

• Within 2 weeks, I was selected to be part of a small group that represented Game4U at Comic-Con South Africa 2025. Together, we worked as a team to manage stall operations and engaged with thousands of fans and social media influencers.
• At the store, I manage stock transfers, requisitions, and inter-store logistics.
• I manage the daily admin tasks, including staff updates and email coordination between inter-stores, the main warehouse, and management.
• We take turns to process sales for consoles, games, mobile devices, and other accessories in small and large orders.
• I advise customers on product choices for themselves and/or for kids and teenagers, which builds rapport and trust.
• As an added initiative on my part, I create promotional posters for limited edition gaming equipment and trending titles, aligning visuals with brand hype.

Store assistant at RS Design and Print A few months later, I assisted a print store with basic day-to-day customer-facing services and creative production.

• I processed in-store and email-based orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• I, personally, generated invoices and spreadsheets for small business owners.
• I assisted the younger students with typing, layout, and creative input for school projects.
• I completed my training for printing bulk orders of imagery on t-shirts and mugs, contributing to custom merchandise production.

Social Media Management (Freelance) at Preloved Desi Elegance

After college, I collaborated with a startup business focused on preloved Indian fashion to present their brand to a larger online audience. This short opportunity gave me insight and experience into brand awareness and the use of professional creativity.

• I curated and managed content across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to build a cohesive digital identity
• I eventually went on to design visually engaging slideshows and media assets using Canva and other mobile editing tools as a beginner.
• We scheduled and optimized posts for reach and engagement, maintaining aesthetic consistency and brand tone.
• Overall, I gained firsthand insight into brand storytelling and audience connection through creative experimentation.

Work Integrated Learning (WIL) at Dass Distributors

During my WIL program, I worked 20 days with Dass Distributors in Automotive Spares, assisting with managing client accounts and administration.
