I am a young, willing individual pursuing a career path to become a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)). I have a big interest with how numbers work and what story each number tells. I am quick to learn and easy to teach. I live by the motto, "There is no tomorrow, so be sure you give today your best."

First Year Trainee Accountant at PKF Cape-Town (2025-02 – Present)

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, reconciliations, journals, and supporting schedules.
• Participating in external audits and assurance engagements — this includes planning, executing audit procedures, testing internal controls, performing analytical reviews, gathering audit evidence, and documenting work under supervision.
• Conducting risk assessments, compliance checks, and basic tax computations/returns.
• Liaising with clients during meetings, fieldwork, or queries on financial matters.
• Supporting month-end/year-end processes, bookkeeping tasks, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Attending internal/external training sessions, completing SAICA competency assessments, and logging experience in the Training Contract Management System (TCMS).
• Working collaboratively in teams, learning from seniors/mentors, and developing professional judgement, ethics, and technical skills in line with SAICA requirements.

Financial Administrator at Biovest Holdings (2024-01 – 2024-12)

I had the responsibility to work directly with the CFO and to ensure that all finance task like the following and more is complete on a daily basis:

• Processing and filing of all supplier invoices
• Generating and filing of invoices to customers

I completed an internship at an audit firm where I was responsible for gathering and organising information for working papers and using this evidence to complete my daily assigned tasks that contributed to the successful completion of audit engagements.
