Diresh Sinath

I spent my childhood in Phoenix and completed my high school education at Havenpark Secondary School. After finishing school, I started a Public Relations course but was unable to complete it due to financial constraints. Subsequently, I joined the Hare Krsna Movement (ISKCON) and lived at the temple as a celibate monk for a decade. During my time there, I honed my relationship skills. After leaving the temple, I began my career in radio.

Since 2005, I have worked as a radio personality, starting my career as a trainee presenter at SABC - LotusFM. I have since gained experience as a production manager at Megazone Bollywood and as a station manager at both PhoenixFM and MUT Radio (the campus radio for Mangosuthu University of Technology). In addition to my broadcasting work, I also run a training academy where I teach new presenters the skills they need to succeed in the industry.

MUT Radio is a brand-new online radio Station in the heart of the Umlazi. We broadcast from the Mangosuthu University of Technology. We broadcast mainly to the students of MUT.

• My duties were managing the overall operations of the station. 
• I was entrusted to train new presenters in the radio industry. 
• Manage the production that goes on air. 
• Go through and edit show preps before going on air. 
• I also produce show promos
• Editing and uploading Podcast to Iono.fm 
• Corresponding with the different departments of the University to create good radio content. 
• Create a good working environment for presenters 
• Creating playlist and logging ads. 
• Have good knowledge of Podcasting, OBS, RadioBoss, Adobe Audition CC Production software, social media marketing. 
• Creating radio ads, jingles, and stings
• Video editing and Video producing.
