• Assist scrub sister, surgeon and anaesthetist in a competent and safe way
• Accurately record information in a timely manner
• Undertake correct post-procedure, disinfection process, care and handling of equipment, ensuring all used equipment is disposed of, decontamination of sterilized as appropriate and ensuring all areas are cleaned
• Make a timeout with the scrub sister as to ensure it is the correct patient for the correct procedure
• Do surgical pose confirm with a patient and verbally check safety and check the list before the case starts, read the consent before the anaesthetist and surgeon starts the procedure
