Responsible for implementing and managing safety standards, compliance activities, and incident investigations in accordance with environmental health and safety programs.
- Driving the implementation of standards and procedures on site
- Ensuring that all site employees are informed of site written safe working procedures and practices so that they can safely execute and fulfill their responsibilities
- Managing required compliance activities, including the implementation of legislation and Environmental Health and Safety programs
- Investigating incidents and near miss events as necessary or required, including compilation and completion of any other necessary documentation
