Previously, as an Industrial Engineer at Pepkor, I led capacity studies, conducted production performance analysis, improved operational layouts, supported various internal audits, and headed the ProX4 process-monitoring project. I also bring earlier experience as a Technical Engineer, where I supported procurement, project oversight, tender processes, CAD design, logistics, and contractor coordination on major industrial projects.
I hold qualifications in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Management, Product Management, Occupational Health & Safety, and multiple ISO standards. My technical competencies include SolidWorks/AutoCAD, SAP, CIM programming, simulations, report writing, and advanced analytical skills. I’ve built a strong foundation in industrial and systems engineering, with hands‑on experience in manufacturing, production optimization, and process improvement.
Currently, I work as a Production Analyst at GRI Wind Steel South Africa, where I’m deeply involved in monitoring and improving production processes. I use SAP daily to track plate, can, section, blasting, metalizing, and fit‑in progress. I support material handling, conduct quality checks, assist with production reports, and help drive continuous improvement projects.
One example is my involvement in a Value Stream Mapping project, where I performed time studies and helped identify non‑value‑adding activities to improve efficiency. I also train operators, support lean manufacturing initiatives, and ensure full safety compliance.
Before GRI, I worked as an Industrial Engineer at Pepkor. My responsibilities included analyzing and improving production workflows, conducting time and motion studies, performing capacity studies, and designing layouts using AutoCAD. I also participated in audits, updated IE reports, and played a key role in the rollout and monitoring of the ProX4 production monitoring system, where I mapped processes and analyzed performance data.
I also gained technical and operational experience as a Technical Engineer at Public Bonds and Projects, where I was involved in procurement, supplier management, logistics, quotation preparation, project reporting, and CAD work for tender documents. I supported multiple engineering projects, including those at Matimba and Arnot Power Stations, and handled data processing, analysis, and six sigma‑related tasks.
