I am an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, since January 2023, currently seeking employment as a junior / newly admitted attorney. I am hardworking, determined, neat and efficient. I believe that my experience in doing my articles and also practicing at a smaller law firm contributes to my excellent understanding of the law, sense of responsibility and work ethic.

Working at a smaller firm means that I had a substantial work-load as well as responsibilities and was held accountable for my work by the Sole Practitioner himself.

After completion of my two- year candidate attorney period at Dawie de Beer Attorneys, I was appointed as junior attorney at the firm. I was responsible for assisting Mr. Dawie de Beer with drafting of pleadings, consulting with clients and counsel, providing legal advice to clients, attending to Magistrate Court matters, independently attending to client files and providing guidance to the new candidate attorney. Mr. de Beer relied on me to proof read and sign-off documents that were drafted by the candidate attorney. I was able to take on more responsibilities due to my excellent training and education during my candidate attorney period.

I attended a two-year article period at the reputable firm, Dawie De Beer attorneys in the Pretoria East area. The firm specializes in various areas of the law, including primarily family matters, insolvency, debt collection, commercial matters and contractual matters in the High Court.

2020

llb – north west university, Potchefstroom campus 

I finished my LLB at the beginning of 2020. I also did my dissertation in Labour Law, more specifically unlawful dismissal.
