Starting in 2007 I was employed as the Senior Draughtsman. I then took the role of Drawing Office Manager 2 years later. After Retrenchments in 2013, I accepted the responsibilities of the other titles and they were added to my repertoire.

• Duties (Drawing Office Manager) include document and personnel management of the Drawing Office. Implementation and procurement of new systems.
• Duties (Senior Draughtsman) include detailed design and manufacturing drawings for new concepts for the smelting furnaces and ancillary machinery. Multidisciplinary Draughting (Architectural, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electrical). Project Conceptualization. Working with software such as Autodesk Inventor (3D) and AutoCad (2D). I have experience working with software such as 3D Solid Edge and Solid Works 3D and Microsoft Project.
• Duties Engineering Foreman (Projects) include Project Planning and Capital Planning for all Engineering Projects from infrastructure refinement to Technical Installations working as the Project Leader for all these Capitalization Projects.
• Duties (Engineering Maintenance Planner) include planning long and short term maintenance schedules. Co-ordinate and monitor Maintenance Shutdowns. Assess performance and implement corrective measures. Management of spares availability, returns reconditioning, reordering. Generate and create planned and unplanned works orders. Monitor budgets and ensure costs are controlled. Prepare weekly Engineering Reports. Undertake and Co-ordinate Project work. Using Global software solutions such as JD Edwards, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, MS Project and many more.
• Duties (Engineering Foreman (Services)) include maintenance and control of engineering personnel offering services that are outside the scope of general engineering personnel.
• Reason for leaving: Retrenched due to Company Closure

Water Treatment Plant Manager / Mechanical Design Draughtsman at Ekapa Mining Pty Ltd (2005-06 – 2007-06)

• Duties of Water Treatment Plant Manager include complete operation and control of Water Treatment Plant in a new venture in Kimberley which deals with the back-filling of the old De Beers open diamond mine with old dump tailings. A very high level of success was achieved since my arrival at the plant, saving the company +/- R6million per annum. Since this was a private company, cost implications were of highest priority.
• Duties of Mechanical Design Draughtsman include detailed design of new mining techniques and procedures to dramatically increase productivity and cost effectiveness. I have worked together with large design firms on projects to bridge the gap between mining personnel and design team personnel. Working with software such as 2D AutoCAD 2006, 3D Autodesk Inventor 10 and 2D Turbo CAD V7. I have experience working with software such as 3D Solid Edge and Solid Works 3D and Microsoft Project.
• Reason for leaving: Resigned for AssMang Manganese CRW appointment.

CAD Design Draughtsman at AquaJet Technology (2002-10 – 2005-05)

• Duties include detailed design of Waterjet Systems, Ultra High Water Pressure up to 3500Bar, New Development in Surface Preparation, Design of UHWP Triplex Pumps and project management. Working with software such as 3D PRO-Engineer Wildfire 2.0, 3D Autodesk Inventor Professional 8, 2D AutoCAD 2005 and 2D Turbo CAD. I have experience working with software such as 3D Solid Edge and Solid Works 3D and Microsoft Project 98.
• Reason for leaving: Retrenched due to Company liquidation.
