I am an attorney with over 15 years of experience in various legal roles within manufacturing, retail, and FMCG multinational companies operating in Africa. My experience is in areas such as ethics and compliance, crisis and incident management, commercial drafting, corporate and regulatory affairs, employee relations, and government relations.

Advisor to the Illovo Executive and the Illovo Group of companies across 7 African markets

Set legal policy, standards, guidelines, and ways of working for the Group, ensuring legal governance in line with international and local requirements.

Provide business-focused legal advice including directing and deciding upon resolution of disputes.

Governance and Secretarial lead across the Illovo Group.

Lead and develop the Group Legal team in alignment with the operating model and wider business strategy, including local ownership and accountability.
