- Ensure a safe and Health working environment for all employees prior and during work execution
- Manage, review and approval of Quality Control Plans (QCP) Process Quality Plans (PQP) / Inspection Test Plans and Check Sheets for all Eskom Service Providers
- Conducting Inspections and tests on raw materials, components and finished products
- Identifying defects, deviations from Eskom specifications and non-conforming products and services
- Inspections on all measuring and electronic equipment to verify measurements and functionality for visual and dimensional
- Management of Quality Planning and compliance according to ISO 9001 Standards and other relevant Standards for Continuous Improvements of the company policies and Legislations
- Analysis of Quality Control data so to identify trends, potential defects and where to improve, correct or prevent
- Documentation of Quality data communicate, report findings written or verbal during Outage meetings and generate daily Quality reports
- Taking a Lead role to ensure all daily targets set by the Project Manager are met and exceed where possible in a Quality Standard

- Review And Signing Off Of NDE Reports And Reporting Deviations To The Quality Technician In Line With The Welding Specification, Procedures And Standards
- Witness Of Clocking And Runouts Of Components To Be Machined On Conventional Lather/ Vertical/ Horizontal Boring And Computer Numerical Controlled Machines
- Performing Offsite Inspection On Vendor And Sub-Contractors Of Any Discrepancies On Products, Measuring Equipments, Gauges If According To Eskom Standards And Specifications Also But Not Limited To Calibration Certification
