General Medical Practitioner (GP) in Bloemfontein, South Africa. I have been in practice for 13 years in private practice and qualified at the University of Free State in 2007.
Experience in ER, theatre, General Surgery, OBGYN, Sports Medicine and General Practice.
Skills include consultations, surgical procedures, ultrasound, dispensing, intra-articular injections etc. Sub-specialty in Sports Medicine (UCT) and have worked with professional sports teams as Team Physician with Free State Cheetahs Rugby and Free State Cricket Knights.
Currently working as a GP at my own practice. In private practice since 2012. Did my community service at 3 Mil Hospital (SANDF) and stayed on for 2 more years doing OBGYN. While doing private work I did sessions at ER Mediclinic and assistance in theatre. I was Team Physician for Cheetahs Rugby from 2012 to 2014.
Physician for Free State Cricket. I had the post as Registrar in General surgery from 2017 but decided to leave in 2019.I worked in rural Northern Cape as well as medical officer in Witbank Mpumalunga during Covid times at a Covid Hospital before returning to Bloemfontein.
MBChB - Obtained from Free State University - 2007
MPhil SSEM (Sport and Exercise Medicine) at UCT - Current. Done with clinical work, but Thesis outstanding.
