I studied a BA in film and Television and majored in directing. I directed short films as part of our film school projects. During my final year, I was chosen to be part of a creative team called South Point Clic as a junior videography and editor.
Now I work as an Assistant director for films that are commissioned by Mzansi Magic, my role is to track daily progress against the filming production schedule, arranging logistics, preparing daily call sheets, checking cast and crew and maintaining order on set. I also worked as a social media marketing intern for the company 33 films where I created and managed social media page for a film during production, to posts behind the scenes footage, interviews with key crew about their respective roles, to promote the film to a local audience.
Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television majored in directing.
