Frances Engle

I have had a passion for teaching and learning since I started Grade 1 in 2006. The classroom has always been my favourite place to be. I chose to specialise in Foundation Phase education as I believe that this phase is the most important in a child’s life.

Not only does a foundation phase teacher have an impact on the child’s academic development for the rest of their lives, but they have an equal impact on their emotional and social development.

I treasure the opportunity that I have as a foundation phase teacher, to help my learners develop holistically, rather than just academically.
