I am a mature medical receptionist with several years of experience as practice manager to an Environmental Toxicologist.
In addition to the above I also have retail experience, as I ran my own specialist nutrient import company for 13 years, bringing specialist nutrients in from the USA, clearing and stocking these products for patients referred to me by doctors all over South Africa.
I have dealt extensively with wholesalers in the USA, courier companies abroad and in South Africa, international staff/clients in various countries and travelled to Europe (Germany, Netherlands, UK, France, Switzerland, Ireland) and Asia (Indonesia). In recent years I have also visited Scandinavian countries, such as Norway and Sweden.
During the period of running my own business as an importer of specialist nutrients and as a NCR Therapist, I dealt with several doctors, specialists, therapists and educational institutions across a broad spectrum of disciplines.

I am an experienced, front-line receptionist/practice manager/retail manager and trainer/tutor
Over the years I have managed curricula for and worked as a PA to the Dean of the Free Baptist Seminary; taught for several years in a preschool environment, which I owned and branched out into tutoring children and adults with learning disabilities. Later I worked as Practice Manager and Front-line receptionist for Dr Carin Smit, Environmental Toxicologist and bought out the Specialist Supplement Department, which I then ran as owner retailing specialist nutrient, I personally imported from the USA and elsewhere. I continued tutoring on an ad hoc basic working mainly with older children and adults.
I matriculated in the late 70's after working in various departments of Barclays Bank and Volkskas have left school early due to family circumstances. I received Barclays' annual award for outstanding performance in every department I had worked during tenure of 8 years in the field of banking.
After concluding my work in banking I studies to obtain a College Diploma in Christian Education under Dr Esther Philippa, Dean of the Wesleyan College.
I have extensive training in Curriculum development and later specialized in complementary healthcare and nutrition.
During the 90's I was elected to further my training in Germany as well in several courses in South Africa, as a therapist in Neuro-Cognitive Reconstructive Therapy and Neuro-Cognitive Mobilization, which included the work of the Optometric Extension Foundation via Lambert Fick's (Stellenbosch) training and have in-depth knowledge of and expertise in:
