Gayatri Baruth

I am hardworking, highly dedicated and a lifelong learner and give of my best at all times.

• I am Grace Baruth and I am a qualified educator with 28years of teaching experience, 10 years face-to-face teaching in an Open Distance Learning and Online Teaching facility; years of management experience and experience in teacher-learner centred programmes.
• I am a life-long learner and I enjoy research, distance education and engaging in literature. I am an avid reader and an avid researcher. I am always looking for new information and new ways of learning and new ways of facilitating learning. 
• I have a sound theoretical knowledge of educational and the teaching policy statements. Given the opportunity, I would emerge into a potential researcher, engaging in research projects and community engagement.
• I also hold a profound position as a Community Leader for the past 23 years and I am dedicated to community upliftment programmes such as Gender-Based Violence Programmes, Food Relief programmes; Women empowerment and Nutritional Programmes, dedicated to serving my community to its embetterment.
• From my previous experiences, I have developed excellent organisational, administrative and team leadership skills. I have also been involved in motivating, leading and empowering my colleagues in developing themselves and furthering their education.
• I am also involved in administrative duties as well as co-ordinating functions. I am actively involved in many community projects and feeding schemes.
• In all this, I remain humble and true to myself.
