Human Resources Manager of the Entheos Group - Entheos Christian School, Jungle Junction English Campus, Afrikaanse Kampus and Shaphar Productions
I am the Human Resources Manager – Generalist, of 60 staff members, and the Compliance Officer for the Entheos Christian School and Jungle Junction. I handle all HR related tasks – recruitment, policies and procedures, employee relationships, disciplinary processes, leave management, training and development.
In addition, I am the liaison officer for all compliance and communication between SACAI, the Department of Education, Department Social Development, and stakeholders in the running of an Independent School. I work on School Manage and D6 School Management Applications as well as South African Administration and Management System SA-SAMS. Most recently, I was part of the AEE (Accelerated Education Enterprises) school verification process where we had to review and update all the schools’ policies, submit all our legal compliance documentation for our schools grading.
My reason for looking for a new opportunity: Most of my salary is offset against school fees for my children. My children are moving to a new school. I cannot afford to earn so little and need to earn a sustainable income.

Independent Travel and Tourism Contractor London and Paris Perfect
London and Paris Perfect WVP Limited in USA Bermuda – I worked remotely as a contract worker on their reservations team. This involved a daily email shift with mostly Australian, America and European clientele, making reservations in London and Paris in privately and company owned apartments. I had weekly telephone shift, weekly conference call meetings, handed cancellations and changes on reservations, updated travel details and housekeeping requests, got owner approval for reservations and communicated with the onsite office regarding guests’ requests.
General administrative tasks like keeping a time log, keeping a work schedule and the monitoring of daily emails. As a contract worker I worked in the mornings and was paid by the hours I logged. I earned R170 an hour.
I travelled to Paris and London to view apartments in January 2019 for 7 days.
Regrettably due to the Coronavirus severe impact on the tourism industry, all contract workers were retrenched.
