FURNACE ELECTRICIAN - HIGHVELD STEEL AND VANDIUM FURNACE
Work as furnace electrician, working with transformers three phase and single phase transformer, switching furnace from star to delta connection by closing links and opening and earthing panel. FS breaker and vacuum breaker when furnace is on off position we release air on transformer for avoiding internal fault. Large forms that will operate bottom float give bucholz alarm check for oil level testing alarm for protection like oil temperature, winding temperature circulation pump for oil, VT and CT for measuring current and voltage our transformers are supplied by 33kV
OVERHEAD CRANE - HIGHVELD STEEL AND VANDIUM FURNACE
Do maintenance on crane and repair. Checking all panel by opening contactor for contact tips and hot connection on resistor bank, loop system brusher on pendo loose card on thyromed lowering and hosting motion also maintain drives on crane limits and recieve for remote control
RAW MATERIAL - CONVEYOR AND VIBRATOR TIPPER - HIGHVELD STEEL AND VANDIUM FURNACE
We tip material on a tipper under neath we have vibrator that offload material on conveyor so that belt cannot be overloaded emergency stop button and inside chute we have chute block
KILINS - HIGHVELD STEEL AND VANDIUM FURNACE
We heat up the material with kiln, we have main drive and stand by main drive and stand by main drive emergency we use it so that kilns will not bend kilns must not stop more than one hour if it got fans like waste gas fan submerge fans suppring using pendo brushes for supplying fans
PLC INFORMATION - HIGHVELD STEEL AND VANDIUM FURNACE
We give technician 220V input number that start with 10 and the bring back out put start number start with 000 then we start our equipment from output card for PLC also neumatic and hydrolic coil to lift up cylinder and realese them limits as well
SUPERVISOR - SOUTH 32 MINE WOLVERKRANS
I am working with medium voltage (MV) 22kV – supplying dragline and shovel for digging coal in the pit doing installation of pump panel and commissioning
