Carry out equipment repairs on shift, mainly breakdowns in accordance with the Work Request System. Conduct equipment checks and diligently complete the shift checklists.
Carry out planned Preventive Maintenance work when the plant is down for Maintenance and during Shutdown. Work planned Annual Shutdown, as and when it is required.
Complete and submit job cards at the end of shift.
Collaborating with other workers to repair or move machines,
machine parts, or equipment. Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools,
squares, rules, micro meters, and plumb bobs.
Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers,
and trucks.
Attach moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly unit,
using hand tools and power tools. Assemble machines, and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools.
