I have acquired an Undergrad in BSc Construction studies and a Honours in Quantity surveying from the University of The Witwatersrand. During my time of completing this degree I gained practical experience in cost estimation, tender pricing, quantity take-offs and budget preparation across consulting environments. I have strong academic foundation in construction economics, cost planning, BOQ preparation and financial control of construction projects.
I have some experience in supporting tender evaluations, reviewing technical drawings and assisting in the development of detailed cost reports aligned with project specifications and client expectations. I am detail-oriented, highly analytical, with the ability to interpret drawings, measure quantities accurately and contribute to effective cost management strategies. I am seeking to contribute my technical expertise, commercial awareness and strong problem-solving ability within a dynamic team

Assisted the site team in monitoring daily construction activities and project progress. Observed and supported coordination between contractors, subcontractors and the client. Gained practical exposure to site procedures, health & safety compliance and workflow management. Participated in site walk-throughs to understand sequencing, resource allocation and project execution.
Quantity surveying Trainee at Coeng Consulting (2024-06 – 2024-06)
Received practical training from a Professional Quantity Surveyor using a previously completed substation project as a case study for quantity take-offs and cost measurement. Practiced measuring and quantifying construction elements from technical drawings under supervision. Gained exposure to the different phases of a construction project and the role of a Quantity Surveyor from pre-contract to post-contract stages.
