Instrument mechanician at Glencore Rustenburg (2003 – 2024)
Started at Xstrata in 2003 at production before the name changed to Glencore. Got instrument learnership in 2007 and completed 2009 where I was appointed mechanician. Worked at furnace 586 and bagplant. Moved to Glencore Boshoek in 2013 where I worked as senior mechanician and was responsible for Raw materials section. Worked with some of the instrument like vega, kronhe, PA, ABB analyzer, wiki instrument, thermocouple type k8s, RTD's etc
