Responsibilities include all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly schedules, overseeing all public areas, luxury villa’s, staff housing, courtyard maintenance of villa’s and administering all laundry activities. Maintaining high quality standards of the guest rooms, public areas and staff housing as well as monitor and ensure response to all guests’ requests. Always administer efficient working of all housekeeping departments and supervise all work and ensure compliance to all operational standards and organizational regulations.
Monitor all sub activities of the department and maintain records of all expenses and control all costs for the department and recommend ways to increase efficiency. I also set up all current housekeeping policies and procedures. Have prepared proposals for changing laundry and room chemicals which was successful and a proposal moving towards branded flip flops which was also successful
I have a diploma in hospitality management from the International Hotel school as well as a business degree from the university of Pretoria
