This is one of the best entry-level jobs because hours are good and it's not as stressful as big stores.

• Sell food & snacks: Chips, sweets, cool drinks, pies, sandwiches, toasties, lunch boxes
• Take orders during break: It gets VERY busy! You must be fast
• Operate the till/POS: Cash, card, and sometimes school cards/tokens
• Make simple food: Toasties, heat pies, make sandwiches, pour drinks
• Check stock: Tell the owner/teacher when stock is low. Check fridges are cold
• Cash-up: Count money and balance till after school
• Keep it clean: Wipe counters, sweep floor, wash dishes
• Customer service: Be friendly to learners and teachers, even when there's a long queue
