• Working in conjunction with security operation, to triage and escalate cases of workplace violence to relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor and administer travel security operations, including tracking, assisting, and advising international traveler's on security issues across the region.
• Monitor and support site and regional events, gathering and providing intelligence and information as required.
• Utilizing various tools and methods, monitor social media, conduct proactive research into potential risk, monitor external media feeds for threads to the company facilities.
• Identify and track incidents to resolution, inform required functions, deliver update in verbal and written form.
• Escalate sensitive incidents to senior leadership and executives.
• The role is accountable for managing the development and implementation of the security framework, strategy, policy, standards, guidelines, procedures and compliance for SAA.
• Identifying, analysing and communicating on business and security-related risks to SAA
• Building, motivating and leading a professional team, responsive to the business needs and committed to integrity and excellence
• Providing intellectual leadership and active support to the company's governance team to ensure risks are made known to senior management and the Board of Directors

• Collaborating with executives to prioritise security initiatives and spend based on appropriate risk management and/or financial methodologies.
• Provide security budget input during the overall Security budget preparations.
• Manage and monitor the utilisation of the overall security budget.
• Manage and monitor security budget to ensure expenditure within budgeted parameters and report on variances periodically.
• Assist with technical surveys regarding camera installation and maintenance.
• Preserve evidence and proprietary document control. Interview and take written statements from all parties involved in corporate investigations at all levels of the Company.
• Coordinate and maintain liaison with law enforcement agencies.
• Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with individuals at all levels, inside and outside of the Company.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge and application of relevant criminal and local laws and/or regulations.
