I am a highly motivated individual that strives to to go the extra mile in pushing the boundaries to what is expected. I enjoy setting goals and pushing myself to achieve them as best I can. I am a qualified tool, jig and die maker with more than 5 years post trade test experience and 11 years in the manufacturing industry. as of January 2025 I have set my goals on increasing my scope of knowledge of engineering by enrolling myself for mechanical engineering degree ( unisa) whereby I would like to grow within a company and become an important asset where i am able to utilize my practical experience as a toolmaker, fitter turner and cnc programmer with a mechanical engineering degree.

-+3.5 years in programming and operating designated cnc programmer : lathe ( siemans)
understanding of siemans and fanuc Gcoding ( northlink level 1)
creating job cards and ensuring all materials are available and ordered before work is initiated,
quality control:
ensuring workpieces are within tolerance and quality of finish of the product is acceptable.
improvements and reengineering an area I enjoy mostly. fault finding, i enjoy inspecting a failed part and improving materials to accommodate functionality better and increase strength, as well as dimensions or design to achieve a much stronger job and less likely to fail as most mass production parts are more prone to failure.
