Man Automotive Pietermaritzburg Dealership (2019 to date)
I am currently working as a Diesel Technician my duties include assisting in the absence of the Workshop Foreman with the relevant kpi duties of a Foreman. Floor planning of Technicians, managing and assisting breakdowns with technical support, working on Euro 2,3,5,6 Trucks and buses. Completing relevant documentation and reports to minimize warranty /maintenance rejection claims in accordance with technical bulletins.
Adhering to Quality Management System. Sales and Service of Trucks and Buses ISO 9001:2015.
Testing of heavy auto components and vehicle control units (mechanical and Electrical) control units and failures, compiling/ assisting of failure reports. Hvac trouble shooting and maintainence on Trucks. Testing and installing electrical looms, fault finding on electronics, programming of control units and product support.
Inspecting new vehicles and additional body fitments (testing of PTO and hydraulics systems)
Assist with Customer Buy Backs IVR / Dekra Inspections on Trucks and Buses ,ensure customer repairs are carried out in accordance with Dealership warranty and maintenance standards.
Assessing and repairs to accident damage vehicles.
