I am a highly motivated, hardworking and goal driven graduate of Electrical and Electronic Engineering - always giving my best and not giving up - to help me grow and learn as an individual and a professional. I want to make a difference in the workplace through my contributions and to be proactive in the development and growth of the company. I strive to gain a wide spectrum of knowledge in both the Electrical and Electronic industry - to ensure proper application of my skills and to become a well-rounded Engineer.

I have a strong background in project management with experience in developing leadership, communication, presentation, documentation, reporting and problem-solving skills. I have been a tutor in Science and Mathematics through my academic history with other work experience through various companies enabling me to develop who I am as a person.

Sport equipment customer sales and administration at Sport24seven (2019 – 2019)

Worked at Sports24seven during final year of study, this taught me a lot of problem-solving skills and disciplined time management with my studies.

Solar panel installation project at UJ (2016 – 2016)

Solar panel installation project sponsored by Schneider Electric. The project tasks consisted of the wiring of several equipment components and the distribution board to the PV panels. The project also included the installation of a solar pump and the construction of the roof upon which the solar panels were mounted.

Technical inspector at Zwartkops Raceway (2016 – 2018)

Appointed as a technical inspector at Zwartkops Raceway. This included the inspection of the basic mechanical and electrical aspects of the electric car built by the respective participating teams.

Private Tutoring at Private (2013 – 2017)

5 years of tutoring experience of Grade 11 and 12 mathematics and science. 2 years' experience in tutoring university students around Auckland Park area in modules such as Applied mathematics, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Computer Systems, Signal and Systems and Graphical Communication.

Student internship at Blue Hemisphere Air Conditioning (2015 – 2015)

Student internship for wiring distribution boards of smaller three phase circuits and aircons. Drawing circuits diagrams on AutoCAD of these three phase systems and observed the installation process of these aircons and circuitry at Virgin Active (Soweto).

Salesperson during University holidays - attending to the sales of school uniforms and solving of customer problems.

Robotics, Mechanics and Home Repairs at Peter Rolfe (2013 – 2017)

Worked under Peter Rolfe on a project were a paintball gun was automated to be controlled from inside the house, shooting moving targets outside. In this project I worked with stepper and servo motors, controlled by chips programmed on PICAXE. Buttons and smaller electronic components were also implemented, it was interesting to solve problems such as feedback and to do 3D printing designs.

Worked under a mechanic gaining experience in basics mechanics of a car, task included removing of gearbox and reinstallation thereof, CV joints, servicing of car and simple panel beating work. Employed to do maintenance work at private student residence homes, tasked with repairing of interior and exterior damages - including building construction and plumbing.

Event coordinator and safety officer at Trinity Sports and RedHub events (2016 – Present)

Setting up the cycle route around Germiston lake and rand airport, taking up the responsibility of safety procedures as well as race communications. Ensuring the safety of cyclists and chaperoning the route. Assisting with registration and administration of triathlon REDHUB events at Cradle Moon lodge.

Appointed as a substitute teacher for Grade 10, 11 and 12 Mathematics and Science.

Academic Advisor (Voog) at University of Johannesburg - Bastions Men's Residence (2014 – 2015)

Academic Advisor (Voog) where I organised meetings, kept minutes, developed proposals and funding documentation for residence functions, first year orientation and HK activities-such as scheduled study sessions for the engineering students in the residence.
