About
My name is Jacqueline (Jackie) Kritzinger, and I am a passionate and experienced travel consultant with many years in the travel industry. I specialise in creating seamless, personalised travel experiences, whether it’s a simple getaway or a complex international itinerary.
Over the years, I’ve worked across various areas of travel, including leisure and corporate bookings, domestic and international packages, flights, accommodation, visas, and full travel planning. I’ve also managed after-hours travel support, which means I’m well-equipped to handle urgent situations quickly and efficiently, ensuring my clients always feel supported—no matter the time.
I pride myself on building strong relationships with my clients, understanding their unique needs, and going the extra mile to deliver exceptional service. I enjoy solving challenges and ensuring that every journey runs smoothly from start to finish.
With hands-on experience in systems like Galileo and Amadeus, and a solid background in fares and ticketing, I bring both technical expertise and a personal touch to every booking.
I look forward to assisting you with your travel plans and creating an unforgettable experience tailored just for you.
Experience
I currently work as a Travel Consultant, where I manage full-service travel arrangements including domestic and international bookings, flights, accommodation, transfers, visas, and after-hours support. My role involves ensuring seamless travel experiences while also handling urgent requests and resolving any issues quickly and efficiently.
Prior to this, I ran my own travel business, which gave me valuable experience in client management, business operations, and delivering highly personalised travel solutions.
I also worked as a Senior Consultant for a leading banking travel division, where I managed a high-volume portfolio of clients, providing 24/7 support and coordinating complex international travel across multiple destinations.
Earlier in my career, I gained strong experience in sales, after-hours emergency travel support, and new business development, where I was responsible for securing new clients and maintaining long-term relationships.
In addition, I have a background in supply chain and procurement within a corporate environment, where I developed strong negotiation, organisational, and problem-solving skills that I now apply to my travel career.
Throughout my career, I have built a reputation for being reliable, client-focused, and solutions-driven, always striving to exceed expectations.
Education
I completed my Matric in 1989 and furthered my studies with an N5 in Computer Practice. I also hold a National Diploma in Tourism (1993), where I gained a strong foundation in both domestic and international travel.
My studies included key subjects such as Office Administration, Accounting, German, and languages including English and Afrikaans, as well as practical computer skills like MS Word.
This educational background has equipped me with both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in the travel industry, allowing me to provide professional, efficient, and well-informed service to my clients.
